Harvard Reference style

The Harvard System is a reference style which is mainly applied in the social sciences and natural sciences. This style places the name of the author and year of publication between brackets in the text and in a separate section “Source” fully referenced alphabetically. The system is therefore also known as the author-date system.

A comprehensive guide for this style was created by the Library Monash University in Australia. The PDF can be found here: Monash Harvard Referencing Guide
